Membership

Our membership community is comprised of many boaters and non-boaters alike.  Members share in a wide variety of events and activities such as boating, dining, socializing, themed parties, special events, and excellent entertainment. Our top-notch facilities feature a clubhouse with formal dining areas and private event space, bar, and four-season patio. All dining and event spaces provide unmatched views of the Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, and Peche Island. Outdoor amenities include three harbours, three pavilions with BBQs, and our popular swimming pool.

ACTIVE MEMBER

Full Club & Harbour Privileges

Active Members are members who are entitled to the entire privileges of the Club.  These members shall be able to attend all membership meetings of the Club, are entitled to vote and are able to hold office.

INTERMEDIATE MEMBER

Ages 26 - 35

Intermediate Members are members from the ages of 19 to 35 inclusive.  Intermediate members shall be entitled to the entire privileges of the Club.  These members shall be able to attend all membership meetings of the Club, are entitled to vote and are able to hold office.  Upon reaching the age of 36, an intermediate member will become an active member and will commence paying dues for the active class.

OUT OF TOWN MEMBER

Out of Town Members are members who have made application under 2.01 to the Board of Directors to obtain such class of membership and in the opinion of the Board either do not maintain a residence within a 75 kilometre radius of the Club or they maintain their sole residence outside of Canada.  Out of Town Members shall have full social privileges of the Club.  They will have the right to attend meetings but shall not be able to vote or hold office.

Corporate memberships entitle three members of a corporation to enjoy the entire privileges of the club. One of these three members, designated by the corporation, shall be able to attend all membership meetings of the club and are entitled to vote and are able to hold office. Special initiation rates are available for corporations.
